Exciting news! It turns out the epilogue that aired with the final episode of Man from the Stars was not the full version. Instead, the never before seen footage that was cut due to time constraints will be released on March 4th on SBS’s website!

The following statement was released:

“We will be showing the full version of the epilogue that was not aired due to time issues. The clip will be released on March 4. Although we were disappointed that we had to edit the epilogue because of time, we hope to officially conclude the drama with a happy ending through the full epilogue that will be posted on the homepage.”

The ending, while nice, lacked the comedic spark that made me fall in love with this show. To put it bluntly, it was flat. I am optimistic (perhaps foolishly so) that this new clip will give me the oomph I was expecting from the finale.

There are still many questions left unanswered, but at this point any additional Song Yi and Min Joon moments are like a dream come true! I really am not ready to say goodbye. What about you?

This announcement, while great, is certainly not helping me get past the denial stage in my 5 stages of grief. The withdrawal has already set in and no amount of OST listening or Kim Soo Hyun picture looking can quite fill the hole in my heart. I think I’m just going to have to rewatch this fantastic show!
