I can’t stop listening to “Night and Day”. I know it’s been out for a month, but I just stumbled upon it this week and now I can’t get it out of my head. Wheesung’s vocals are perfect for this melody and it’s the kind of song that inspires me to passionately sing along. (And when I say sing along I really mean enthusiastically mouth the words while Wheesung performs his excellent vocals.)
I’d always heard that Wheesung is a wonderful singer, but I really hadn’t listened to his songs until this past week. Let me say, I am now head-over-heels in love with this musician. You can mark me down as a Wheesung fan!
The music video does a great job complementing the song as well as highlighting Wheesung’s vocals. I like that it included both footage of Wheesung singing along with a love story side plot. Yura and C.A.P add a nice touch to the atmosphere.
I also like the backup dancers that surround Wheesung while he belts out his lyrics. Wheesung does a great job coordinating his hand movements with the dancing, allowing me to feel an even stronger connection to the emotional pull of the song.
Let’s be honest, the climatic “I’m gonna love you day and night” gets me every time!
Bonus Song of the Week
“I Don’t Want to Know” is another song off Wheesung’s new album Best Man. This video is essentially a trailer for Cha Seung Won’s movie High Heels and I find this video absolutely mesmerizing. The combination of Cha Seung Won and Wheesung is just perfect. It sure made me want to see this film!
What do you think of “Night and Day” and “I Don’t Know You” ? Please share with me your favorite Wheesung songs! I am still a new fan that has a lot to learn.
On a most amazing side note, I really, really need to study hard because I’m seeing Wheesung in concert in July!
Wheesung and Moon Myung Jin are coming to the U.S. and my friends and I immediately bought our tickets. If you live near New York, Chicago, or L.A. be sure to catch this amazing singer in person!
Thanks for reading!

I am really loving “Night and Day”! It’s so powerful and addictive. I’ve been listening to it constantly for the past week. I’d recommend “Insomnia,” which is also highly addictive and “I Even Thought of Marriage” which really showcases his amazing vocals.
