Learn how to recreate some of Park Shin Hye’s beautiful makeup looks with products you can find in the drugstore!

Park Shin Hye is one of the most stunning Korean actresses. She always looks beautiful in pictures from meet-ups and premiers and in print ads. With her flawless skin and perfect makeup you may think, “Gahh! She’s so lucky!” But with these makeup tricks, techniques and drugstore products that are easy to find and inexpensive to buy, you too can get that perfect Park Shin Hye look!

To start off with, you need to have the perfect canvas for your makeup! Park Shin Hye always has a flawless face which, although probably has a lot to do with her natural beauty, is also due to makeup.

Begin by applying a light weight BB cream all over the skin. This will give your skin a youthful and healthy glow like Park Shin Hye! This one by Maybelline is a good option from the drugstore or if you wanted to go the Korean route, Etude House (a Korean makeup fave!) has some fantastic inexpensive BB creams on their website! Shipping can be expensive but if you are going to splurge on any item to get the perfect Korean drama star look, it should be a BB cream. If you find that you need more coverage, you can always use a concealer to take care of any blemishes, redness, or dark circles.

Now that you have a flawless base, here are three beautiful looks to try!

 Look #1:

Park-Shin-Hye-Short-53fa0d042d6b4-21To get this simple, everyday look, use your finger to apply a satin medium brown like Milani’s Bella Cappuccino all over your lid, stopping at your crease. Then line your eyes as close to the eyelashes as possible with a black or dark brown pencil liner like this Rimmel Scandal Eyes one, and curl your lashes and apply a coat of black mascara like the Covergirl Clump Crusher to lock in the curl.

Finally, apply a light pink blush (try this one in the shade Rose Garden) to the apples of your cheeks sweeping up toward the temples and apply a similar color pink to the lips. Use a lipstick like this one in Petal Rebel by Maybelline that doesn’t have a lot of shine or sparkle to maintain a youthful look!

 Look #2:

This Park Shin Hye look is all about that cheek/lip combo! To get it, first apply a light wash of a shimmery light brown shade onto the eye lids, careful not to bring it into the crease. A mix of the middle and darkest color in this Covergirl trio will give you the perfect shade! Then apply a thin line of liquid liner to the upper lid and flick it out the outer corner of each eye to give yourself a subtle wing like Park Shin Hye! You can also run a little bit of the dark brown eyeshadow you used before along the lower lashes. Curl your lashes and apply a coat of mascara.

For the cheeks and lips, you want to again use a similar color to keep the look fresh and youthful! For the cheeks use this NYX Cream Blush in the color Red Cheeks. Don’t be afraid of the bright color! Just use a small amount on two fingers and small, light tapping motions to build up the color on your cheeks. Finally, a lip balm/stain like this Revlon one in Romantic will complete the look!

Now just lightly curl your hair and put on a cute hat and you will really be just like Park Shin Hye!

Look #3:

54773334320122365391This look is a little more dramatic but perfect for fall! Use this beautiful Warm Nude palette by Physican’s Formula to achieve her warm eye look by sweeping the shimmery dark gold color all over the lids and then using one of the darker browns to deepen up the outer corner and run along the lower lash line. Then apply liquid eyeliner and mascara just like we did for the second Park Shin Hye look above.

To balance out the bright red lips, you want to highlight the center of your face. This can be achieved by applying a concealer like this Maybelline one under the eyes in a triangle shape and blend out with your fingers. For Park Shin Hye’s dramatic red lips you want to use a red-orange matte lipstick. Look for one in a long wearing formula like this one in Purty Persimmon or this one in Indie Flick for minimal touch-ups throughout the day.

Pro tip: blot off the first layer of lipstick with a tissue after application to get any excess product off and throw the lipstick in your bag in case you do need to touch-up or re-intensify the color throughout the day!

As a bonus, here’s some makeup related pictures of Park Shin Hye and Lee Min Ho. Look at that concentration on Lee Min Ho’s face as he applies her mascara! Swoon! I wish Lee Min Ho could come do my makeup.

Alas, Park Shin Hye is one lucky girl!
